Volunteers are always welcome at Quincy Medical Center. Whether you have only a few hours per week or more, there are many departments and services you can help with.
Junior volunteers must be at least 16 years old and fulfill a minimum of 25 volunteer hours at Quincy Medical Center each year.

Members of the Quincy Medical Center Auxiliary volunteer their time, knowledge and skills to raise funds — more than $1 million since its inception in 1953 — to support the medical center. Events organized by the auxiliary include Heart Tag Day; handbag, book and fudge sales; and raffles.
Funds are allocated in a variety of ways to increase comfort and convenience for patients. The Auxiliary has been an ardent supporter of the planned Emergency Department renovations.
