Patient/Family Advisory Council

Quincy Medical Center (QMC) is fully committed to integrating the principles of patient- and family-centered care into our delivery model, and we value the important roles that patients and their families have in enhancing the quality and safety of health care. The purpose of the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is to enable patients and family members to partner with the hospital staff to advise, consult and evaluate operational initiatives that impact patients and their families.

The PFAC at QMC consists of the Patient Advocate, Director of Quality, SVP for Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer, and six patient or family members. The committee is chaired by the Patient Advocate and one Patient/Family member and meets 10 times per year.
