Interpreter Services
If English is not your preferred language for health care, QMC’s Interpreter Services and Asian Services staff is available to assist you. This may include an appropriate referral to a bilingual staff member or interpreter services. Quincy Medical Center also contracts with a telephone interpreting service which offers interpretation and translation for more than 150 languages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All QMC staff members have easy access to this service, and speaker-phones are available so that you can talk with your doctor/nurse and the interpreter at the same time.
As a community hospital, Quincy Medical Center is dedicated to ensuring that all members of the community have equivalent health care access to our providers.
