The Patient Accounting Office will submit claims to the patient’s insurance carrier for hospital services. Claims for physician services, such as Emergency Room Physicians, Radiologists, Hospitalists, and Vascular Surgeons, are processed apart from the hospital. Please note this will result in separate claims and bills being sent for these evaluations.

If the hospital does not receive payment from your insurer, or if your insurer does not cover the services you received, you may receive a bill. If you wish to make a credit card payment, both MasterCard and Visa are accepted. Payments can be sent to Patient Accounts, Quincy Medical Center, 114 Whitwell Street, Quincy, MA 02169. If you have questions about your hospital bill, contact 617-376-5742.

Staff is available at the medical center to assist uninsured individuals in determining if they qualify for medically necessary financial assistance including state-sponsored health insurance programs. Eligibility criteria must be met in order to qualify for this assistance. If you have questions related to uninsured status or underinsured qualifications, call registration services at 617-376-5347
