There are a variety of services available to patients and visitors of Quincy Medical Center.
Visiting hours on the inpatient units at Quincy Medical Center is flexible. Please ask your family member's nurse if there are any restrictions. The only exception is the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where visiting is limited. Please call the ICU at 617-376-3135 prior to visiting to check on the patient's condition.
For your convenience, QMC offers free parking in the main parking area (first entrance on the right if you approach from the Burgin Parkway).
The medical center provides courtesy shuttle service between the Quincy Center MBTA station and QMC throughout the day. The shuttle picks up passengers at the medical center in front of the blue awning at the rear entrance. At the MBTA station, the shuttle picks up passengers at the rear entrance (Burgin Parkway).

If you need directions, special accommodations such as a wheelchair, or have a general inquiry, contact the concierge. Concierge Staff are stationed in the main lobby, inside the rear entrance near the blue awning, and in the emergency department. Concierge staff can also be reached by dialing 617-376-4003.
If English is not your preferred language for health care, QMC’s Interpreter Services and Asian Services staff is available to assist you. This may include an appropriate referral to a bilingual staff member or interpreter services. Quincy Medical Center also contracts with a telephone interpreting service which offers interpretation and translation for more than 150 languages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All QMC staff members have easy access to this service, and speaker-phones are available so that you can talk with your doctor/nurse and the interpreter at the same time.

Visitors are welcome to pre-order a meal for a small price from our Food and Nutrition Department at 617-376-4601. You may also visit our cafeteria – CrossRoads Cafe – on the first floor. The Café menu includes reasonably priced hot meals, a full salad bar, snacks, and beverages including sodas, juices, and coffee.
Additional food and beverage options are available through a coffee shop located within the hospital’s main lobby, as well as from vending machines throughout the medical center.
